The most important on the calendar each year is Science meets Parliament which brings up to 200 scientists from across Australia face-to-face with the decision makers in Canberra. The issue to be tackled at this year’s highlight event is the importance of science to the economy.
Science and Technology Australia also holds forums and workshops on imperative issues circulating the science sphere.

Science meets Superannuation
6 March 2012, Melbourne
Science meets Superannuation will bring together thought leaders from the science and innovation sector and the superannuation industry to discuss challenges and opportunities to investing in Australian knowledge and innovations.
Science meets Superannuation will explore ways to create partnerships between the superannuation and innovation sectors, boost the knowledge based economy, and map a way forward to achieve this.
Be part of this unique event and join high-level representatives from the Australian government, the science and innovation sector; and the superannuation industry.
The Hon Bill Shorten, Minister for Financial Services and Superannuation and Professor Brian Schmidt, 2011 Nobel Laureate are amongst the speakers at the Summit.
