Genetics Society of Australasia Conference 2019
30 June - 3 July
The program will be rich and diverse, covering the extraordinary expanse of our discipline as it practised in the 21st century.
The program will feature two special Symposia on the potential for major programs of research; one on an audacious proposal to sequence a massive number of genomes to understand the unique biodiversity of Australia and New Zealand. The other focuses on the agenda of the Australian Functional Genomics Network to use model organisms to investigate the functional impact of genetic variants identified in patients with rare diseases and cancers.
