Nuclear Security ConsultantGlobal Nuclear Security Partners
From a young age Jaz has been fascinated in awesomeness of nuclear science. Understanding how atoms interact to do things like generate vast amounts of heat and light in the sun through to how atoms are used in everyday activities like nuclear medicines to diagnose and treat cancers as well as everything in-between is something she finds exciting. This led Jaz to a career in the Army where she used her knowledge of nuclear science to understand how to detect radiation and protect our soldiers on the battlefield from it. Jaz now uses this knowledge to help people understand nuclear science and its opportunities for the future across many industries.
Jaz is a mum and military veteran. She has a Batchelor of Science (Physics) from UNSW, a Masters in Military and Defence Studies from ANU and a Masters in Engineering Science (Nuclear Engineering) from UNSW.
