Jocelyne Mulangala is driven by a passion for improving lives through heart disease research. With a PhD in medicine from the University of Adelaide, where she focused on heart disease, and postdoctoral experience in Sydney, she has a deep understanding of the scientific challenges in this field. Now, as the program manager for the Queensland Cardiovascular Research Network at the National Heart Foundation of Australia, Jocelyne ensures that researchers have the resources and support needed to make breakthroughs that could save lives.

Transitioning from research to management, she is committed to fostering diversity in STEM. Through her Instagram blog, "science.withjocelyne," she connects with students from underrepresented communities, encouraging them to explore careers in science. Jocelyne believes that everyone deserves a chance to shine in STEM and is dedicated to building a more inclusive and equitable scientific community.
