
Nicola Ware
Nicola Ware commenced as the inaugural CEO of the Ramsay Hospital Research Foundation in early 2017. This role is responsible for the day to day operations of RHRF, implementation of the strategic plan and the identification of suitable research projects that align with the RHRF strategic objectives.
Prior to joining the Foundation Ms Ware was the Chief Operating Officer of Neuroscience Research Australia, where she was responsible for the day to day management of research operations and the oversight of a $25M operating budget. Throughout her career, Ms Ware has been involved in laboratory based research, clinical research holding senior management roles at both Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute and Melanoma Institute Australia. Ms Ware has experience in research management, research governance and the management of non profit organisations.
Ms Ware holds a Bachelor of Biotechnology with first class honours from the University of Wollongong and a Masters in Business Administration from Macquarie Graduate School of Management. She is a graduate and current member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and was previously a director of Schizophrenia Research Institute.
