From a farming family near Temora, Simon has a background in soil science and the grains industry, and is a member of the Soil CRC Board. Simon leads research and development at New Edge Microbials. He develops and manages research investments focused on applied aspects of beneficial bacteria as microbial inoculants to promote plant growth and provide biological disease control. Simon has spent two-decades working in Research, Development and Extension across Australia as a scientist, science manager and consultant. Simon and his team are passionate about bringing evidence-based biological products to market.
