Dr Susan Wilson
I am Associate Professor in Environmental Pollution and lead the UNE Pollution Science Research Group in the School of Environmental and Rural Science. My research answers questions on the cycling, processing and fate of contaminants in terrestrial systems to provide solutions for management, rehabilitation and remediation. My group works on legacy pollutants as well as emerging concerns including PFAS and microplastics. We are internationally recognised for our work on the biogeochemistry of the metalloids arsenic and antimony.
