Making a difference is my mantra! What excites me is innovative collaboration & I connect expertise to create opportunities. From a Chemistry background, I now manage a national research centre focusing on reducing the energy used by computing technology.

As the chief operating officer of FLEET, ARC Centre of Excellence in Future Low-Energy Electronics Technologies, I’m responsible for the research centre’s financial and operational effectiveness. What I enjoy most in my job is working amongst brilliant scientists and bright students passionate about finding a sustainable solution for the energy challenge.

I hold a PhD in Chemistry and a Master of Management. I have 17 years of experience in the higher education sector as a research centre manager, a laboratory manager and a researcher in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
