WABSI is an independent, collaboration mechanism for facilitating end user driven biodiversity science research.

It is a unique model - first, it initiates engagement with end users from industry, government, regulators and the community to identify and prioritise biodiversity knowledge gaps. It then facilitates scientific collaboration to address these agreed priorities, and creates pathways so that new knowledge is accessible to stakeholders, helping lift confidence and certainty in environmental decision-making.
