Neelima Kadiyala

IT Program Manager

Challenger Limited

I have over 15 years of experience delivering extensive transformation programs across multiple industries including Financial Services, Government, Telco and FMCG. While developing technical skills, concurrently I progressed with leading teams to deliver projects. Through this journey I am aspiring to progress into senior leadership roles.

I moved to Australia in 2003 as an international student to pursue Master of Business in Information Systems. Establishing a sense of belonging in a foreign country and workplaces to feel inclusive has been crucial in settling down. It was daunting to be a minority, both culturally and as a gender attending my university classes or early stages in my career. This has formed a catalyst for my passion to champion Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) initiatives to build inclusive work environment and diverse teams.

Through my passion for D&I and contributions to build a future technology talent pipeline, I have been selected as GEEQ Australia Ambassador which is a not-to-profit organisation empowering women and promoting gender equality. I actively want to further extend my voluntary services for broader IT community across Australia. Coming from a culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) background, want to extend support to CALD women through sharing my learnings and insights.
