Ben is a scientist and science communicator from Perth, WA. When he isn’t in the lab trying to discover dark matter, he is usually somewhere talking about it.

Ben completed his PhD at the University of Western Australia in 2019, and now works with the UWA node of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Engineered Quantum Systems. His work focuses primarily on “The ORGAN Experiment”, Australia’s first axion dark matter detector, which is currently under construction and expected to commence long term operation in 2020.
