Dayle is the Executive Director of Data and AI at Telstra. Previous roles include Chief Data & AI Officer at AGL Energy, Divisional CIO at NAB, and as an IT Consultant working all over the world to help businesses transform through adoption of new technologies. Dayle is the Chief Ambassador for the Telstra Foundation, an Ambassador for Robogals and for Girl Geek Academy, all organisations strive for digital inclusion, and encourage STEM education and careers.
Dayle won the Women Leading Tech Glass Ceiling Award in April this year in recognition of both her own career success and for helping so many other women to achieve successful careers in tech too. In 2022 Dayle was awarded an Order of Australia Medal for her services to IT and to women. Dayle was named in the CIO50 list as one of Australia’s top CIOs, won the Australian Computer Society Digital Disruptor Award (twice), was a finalist in the Telstra Business Women’s Awards (twice), in 2018 was named as one of the Australian Financial Review’s 100 Women of Influence, was named the Alumnus of the Year by Federation University, and was named the Women in Industry Mentor of the Year. In 2018 Dayle was invited to Buckingham Palace to meet HM The Queen in recognition of her work in supporting and inspiring young leaders from across the Commonwealth.
