NATA is Australia’s leading national accreditation body, recognised by government to assess organisations against a number of international standards for laboratories, inspection bodies, proficiency testing providers and reference material producers.

Our Members are the Organisations we accredit and cover a broad spectrum including from government, industry, business, professional and scientific communities.

A not-for-profit organisation formed in 1947, NATA’s accreditation services facilitate stakeholders having confidence in test, measurement and inspection data. This provides confidence for Members, and importantly their clients, by adding value to the products and services and underpinning arrangements such as Free Trade Agreements (FTA) supporting the international acceptance of Australian products and services.
